NOTD: Spring Pastels

Inspired by an article on Beautylab, a Dutch beauty blog, I decided to paint my nails today. Inspired by spring I used pastels and a bright pink. All the nail polishes I used were part of a set I bought for just £2.00 at Primark. I will probably do a review on this set soon.

I started by applying the pastel pink on all my nails, I wanted it to be really opaque, so I used 3 coats on all of my nails except for on my ring finger, on my ring finger I used only 2 coats. After letting that dry I used the other 3 colours, the periwinkle blue, mint green and lastly the bright pink to make dots on my ring finger nail. The final result actually matches my bedding, how cool.

Have you already done any spring inspired nail-art?

Love,
Kelly

  1. So cute! The pink is lovely. I’ve been wearing a lot of nail print, cherry and daisy nail art just recently. Take a look. 🙂 http://rarareid.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/leopard-print/ http://rarareid.wordpress.com/2012/07/02/cherries/ http://rarareid.wordpress.com/2012/08/03/little-daisies/

    1. Thank you, it’s so simple however it looks like you put more effort into it than you actually did.
