Are you looking for cheap false eyelashes? Try Primark Beauty!

I’ve already tried Primark Beauty false lashes before, on my birthday I wore the more natural-looking pair out of these four, I hadn’t seen the others before though so when I saw them in Primark the other day I just had to pick them up. On my birthday I didn’t really have high expectations, these lashes were only £1.00 with the eyelash glue included, however I decided to give them a go. The lashes were a bit too big for my eyes so I had to cut a little piece off. If you never try, you’ll never know so I tried the included glue and believe it or not, the lashes stayed on all night! I don’t wear false lashes very often but just in case when I want to I now have a few pairs to choose from, not all of them are very wearable and suitable for every occasion, yet you never know when you are looking for a pair of sparkly lashes to compliment your look.

Have you tried Primark Beauty false eyelashes? Do you want to?

xoxo Kelly

Transfer and Transition poster made by Mandy and me

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting on my blog regularly, I’ve been quite busy. I especially haven’t posted in a while about the main reason I came to Brighton to begin with, to study at the University of Brighton so here’s an update about what I’ve been doing at the university. read more »

NOTD: Red nail polish from Beauty UK Statement Nails Gift Set in Wild Child

Today I’m again wearing a colour quite similar to NYC 224 Times Square, only this polish is a more coral-based red and in my opinion perfect for summer. This Beauty UK nail polish is part of a gift set called Wild Child. You get 6 amazingly bright nail polishes for only £4.99, sounds like a good deal to me and since I rarely finish nail polishes I don’t mind the smaller bottles. Beauty UK is a very cheap brand you can find in Superdrug.  I’m wearing 2 coats of nail polish in this picture.

Road trip to West Wittering beach with Tom and Georgina

The day before yesterday I went on a road trip with my friends Tom and Georgina. Tom and Georgina are already done with all their assignments and wanted to something fun. I still have to finish one essay however the weather looked very promising and it’s such a waste to stay inside on a beautiful day. Georgina is from England and has her own car, this way we could go somewhere that’s not easy to reach by public transport. Georgina told us about a beach she has been to before, not like Brighton Beach, which has stones, this beach however has sand.

Before we found the beach, we found a seaside pub and we had lunch. The pub was called Crown & Anchor. We sat down outside, where we could see and smell the sea and had a lovely lunch together.

NOTD: Kiko Nail Laquer 336 Electric Blue

Today I’m wearing the nail polish I bought in London with my friend Brittany. It’s by 336 Electric Blue by Kiko. I bought this nail polish because I saw Julia, also known as Misschievous on YouTube wear it in her Alexandra Stan Mr. Saxobeat make-up tutorial. When I saw it I just knew that I had to have it. Electric Blue is a stunning bright blue that doesn’t unnoticed. It’s the first and only Kiko product I own and so far I really like it. Kiko is not available in The Netherlands, I bought this when I was in London in the Kiko store in Westfield shopping centre. The formula was very nice and it applied very smoothly without streaking. In the picture I’m wearing 2 coats over a base coat.

Have you tried any products by Kiko?

Shopping in London with Brittany, pictures and haul, Forever 21, Selfridges, Illamasqua, Dior, Westfield Shopping Centre, Inglot, Kiko and Camden

Already 2 weeks ago on Saturday I met up with Brittany, who I met at the Q&A session with the Pixwoo sisters at IMATS 2012. We went shopping in London together because we’re both really into make-up and beauty and we thought it would be nice to go shopping with someone who understands your passion. We choose London because it’s easy to travel to for the both of us. Brittany is originally from Denver, USA but studies now in Leicester. We met up at Victoria Station, where she would arrive by coach and I by train. I was so nice to see each other after such a long time, chatting and e-mailing is all nice however it just doesn’t compare to talking in real life.

Brittany and I at Marble Arch

We did some serious beauty-shopping and if you’d like to know what I’ve bought please read on.

Trip to Bodiam Castle and Rye

The University of Brighton offers trips for international students for a really affordable price. It’s a great way to visit places you wouldn’t visit on your own and an great way to meet other international students. So Rita, Mandy and I decided to go on the the trip to Bodiam Castle and Rye on the 3rd of March. On this trip I met the lovely Jacleen and Rachel you’ve probably already seen a couple of times on my blog.

Believe it or not, I barely recognized my friend Micah that morning, he had long hair when I first met him and I hadn’t seen him for 2 weeks. So during the ride to Bodiam Castle I sat next to him and asked him why he now went back to short hair. He explained that he donated his hair so they can make wigs out of it for cancer patients, how noble is that? The first stop was the beautiful Bodiam Castle, it was built in 1385 by Sir Edward Dalyngrigge, who was former knight of King of England Edward III. Unfortunately the weather was very English that day, meaning grey and rainy, which wasn’t that nice since parts of the castle weren’t covered. I got to know the very sweet Jacleen and Rachel who are from the United States of America. Micah, Jacleen, Rachel and I explored Bodiam Castle together and we had a lot of fun doing so. We were just slightly disappointed that we couldn’t dress up in this castle, that’s why we agreed to go and visit Lewes Castle some day. I already put up a blog post about our visit to Lewes, you can read about it here.
