NOTD: Kiko Nail Lacquer 381 Purple Grey

Today I’m wearing one of the grey Kiko nail polishes I bought over a year ago, when I went to Paris with my friend Brittany. Kiko Nail Lacquer 381 Purple Grey is a dark grey with a purple undertone and a cream finish that appears slightly darker on my nails than in the bottle. All Kiko nail polishes I’ve tried so far are amazing, this one was completely opaque in 2 coats and last around 5-7 days on me.

Have you tried any Kiko nail polishes?

  1. Love the shade 🙂 I’ve got a few polishes by Kiko and I love them all.

  2. Never heard this brand before but the color looks great!

  3. That color is gorgeous!! Too bad they don’t carry this brand in the U.S

    1. I know how you feel, there are a lot of cool brand available in the U.S. that I cannot buy here.

  4. I’m a huge fan of black regardless of the brand I’m using LOL. Besides, I think the colour is looking, pardon me for saying it, badass on you. I haven’t tried this product yet.. but given the colour is so rich, I’d love to try it someday! 🙂
P.S I’ve been meaning to add the “origin” theme in my blog for quite sometime now. But I’m not getting any thumbnails from my post in my homepage. Can you please tell me how to get the thumbnails for the posts? 😦

    1. Thank you for that compliment! You can add a thumbnail to the post by setting an image as feature image. I hope you’re able to find it, otherwise I’m always happy to help 😉

      1. How do you set a featured image? 😦 I’m so lost.

  5. Nice colour but I am always so scared of using dark shades… not so sure why

  6. I’ve never tried the brand, but I LOVE the colour!

    1. Kiko is amazing! What other Kiko products have you tried?

  12. Love the shade! We don’t have Kiko here, unfortunately, but I’m sure I’ve seen dupe shades in other brands 🙂

    1. It isn’t a very original shade, so you’re probably right.

  13. This is soo Autumn 2013 Colour girl.. Loving it 🙂 Thank you for dropping by my blog 🙂

    xx Chaicy – Style..A Pastiche!

  14. Nope, I haven’t tried any Kiko nail polish yet. This is a nice color btw. 🙂

  19. Never, however loving the shade ❤

  20. No I haven’t – Kiko isn’t available where I’m at. I satisfy my cravings for European drugstore brands with Essence and Catrice…

    1. Essence and Catrice are amazing as well, yet Kiko isn’t really a drugstore brand. Kiko has its own free-standing stores and isn’t available in the drugstores, although Kiko is very inexpensive.

Nope I haven’t tried it. Haven’t seen it here in the Philippines or in Hong Kong. Amazing color payoff though! I think that particular shade of grey looks very chic 🙂

    1. That’s probably because Kiko unfortunately isn’t available in Asia.

        So saad 😦

  22. KIKO nail polish are very cheap. This is definitely a pro :). I’m not very sure about the colors. I mean, when I’m there under those strong lights I love them…but when I go home and I wear it I don’t like it anymore. The colors are always darker than I thought. I know that maybe is only my problem :). I love the basis one that you can use under and above your nail polish. xxx

    1. I usually go for bright colours, only the 2 grey nail polishes from Kiko that I own appear slightly darker on my nails, but it doesn’t really bother me.

  23. LOVE that color! That’s my favorite hue for fall!

    1. It really is a lovely colour, it goes with almost everything.

  24. now you made me wanna get a new grey~ love this shade.

    1. Grey is one of my favourite naik polish colours for autumn because it goes with almost anything.

  25. I’ve tried Kiko nail polish before and they are sooo awesome 😀 Kumiko Mae, Filipina Beauty Blogger

    1. I absolutely agree with you, I’d love to get my hands on some more colours.

  26. The color look so good on your nails! I think I had one similiar color from OPI as well.

  27. Hey Kelly, it’s nice to have you back! I don’t think I own anything similar in my stash, so I’d totally be interested in giving it a go!

    1. You still remember me, how nice! 😀

  28. kiko seems like a great brand – we don’t get it here in USA that I know of unfortunately. Love this color!

    1. You’re right, you can’t buy Kiko in the USA but you can buy it in Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Portugal and the U.K.

  29. I don’t know what you have been doing lately, but your nails look amazing! So beautiful! I remember buying this color as well. I love it.

    1. Thanks sweetie! So nice of you to notice the way my nails look. I don’t know for sure what happened but somehow my nails looked amazing ever since I went to Indonesia.

  30. I have never heard of Kiko products before, but then again we may not have them here in the U.S. I have a similar grey shadow that I love wearing during the fall season; it goes with anything you could possibly want to wear! 🙂 This looks like an especially high quality shade.

    1. Unfortunately you can’t buy Kiko in the U.S. my friend Brittany is from the U.S. and she loves Kiko too, so we bought a lot of Kiko products when we were in Paris.

      1. Hmm, I’ll have to keep that in mind if I ever make my way to Paris someday. 😉

      2. You can also buy Kiko in Germany, Belgium, Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Portugal and the U.K. 😉
